Language Arts - Friday, January 31

Today, students began pre-reading activities for the short story we will read next week. They also received a vocabulary packet that is due next Friday, February 7th.

For homework, make sure you are caught up on any late/missing work! Also, Ghost chapter 4 is due on Monday for 4th, 6th, and 8th hours.

Social Studies 2/24/2020

Today we started working on our big Medieval African Griot project. This project will be a significant grade for this 9 weeks. Please ask your students about their project. They will be creating a story as if they were an African Griot about their own family. This will include family stories and/or family traditions. They will then create a minute & 30 second video were they speak their story over music or rap/sing their song over music. We will be working on this project most of this week. Social Studies 2/12/2020

Students will have 15 minutes at the beginning of class to tie up loose ends on their project plan sheets and Google slides document. If you need more time than 15 minutes to do the part you are accountable for, you need to work on that this evening. You can access your Google Drive at home. If students do not have access to internet at home, please go to the library before morning dismissal to make sure you get your parts complete. Students will present in class tomorrow. I am staying after school tomorrow from 4-5 pm to work with students who want to catch up on missing work.
